You've found your place in the sun...

Prior to the launch of PBWP, as Head of IT for London-based software house HPD Software, he was the technical lead on a pioneering SaaS (Internet-based Software as a Service) launch of HPD's factoring software in 2001. This service went on to great success numbering Bank of America and GMAC among its clients. The picture to the right shows HPD's managing director Mr Tony Davison receiving the Queen's Award for Export Achievement, gained during Peter's time with the company. With HPD and recently with such companies as I-Compliance Peter gained specific experience about the needs of financial services companies.

Before HPD, he worked in the further education and health services sectors on systems integration and networking projects. The picture to the left was featured in a case-study by Peterborough Software of the implementation of their Open Door payroll and personnel system for over 6000 staff at Bromley Hospitals, Kent, UK, and shows Peter with team leaders John Smith and Tanya Cowin.

Peter gained CISSP, the leading IT security accreditation in 2007. He has held numerous industry certifications and gained a BTec in Computer Studies at Lewisham College, London, UK.

Peter's one and only release as a 'record producer' was with the immensely talented Billy Jenkins on his album When The Crowds Have Gone, released on the Babel label in 2004.

Again on a musical theme, his mentor at Lewisham College, who gave him a head start in the IT industry was the supremely talented Richard Jones, shown below. Before his own move into IT Richard was a member of Climax Blues Band when they had their worldwide hit in 1976, 'Couldn't Get it Right'.
