I was surprised and amused yesterday to see the fuss on the networks about facebook’s changes. Much talk of ‘leaving facebook’ and ‘going to Google+’… It just so happens I’d recorded a screencam the day before – a brief overview of how to use facebook lists to achieve a similar effect to circles – i.e. creating separate lists of users so that you can target updates to particular lists and also ‘tune in’ to lists to see only updates from that list for a while (it’s slightly out of date already – in 2 days! – but the particular thing I’m covering seems to be the same.
