Monrovia – a city located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, California, United States. Monrovia is the fourth oldest general law city in Los Angeles County and the L.A. Basin (after Los Angeles, Santa Monica, and Pasadena). Incorporated in 1887.
Today, Old Town Monrovia is a favorite with both locals and visitors with authentic older buildings with farmer’s markets, street festivals and many local attractions. Just up to the north of Old Town is the Monrovia Canyon Park – a great place to easy taste the delights of the San Gabriel Mountains and take in the Canyon Falls after a short hike.
