Based on the Monrovia/Arcadia border, just a few minutes drive from beautiful Sierra Madre, I’m well placed to meet your small business or domestic technical support needs, in a friendly and personal manner! Typical tasks I carry out for local people:
- Recovering damaged systems/software
- Microsoft Windows & Linux (especially Ubuntu) installations, configurations & rescues
- Virus and other malware rescues
- Webmastering support – modifying and configuring websites, WordPress a specialty
- Internet (cloud) hosting – adding/modifying/configuring
- Network setup, fixes, expansions including wired and wireless (wi-fi) routers, cable and DSL modems, mobile broadband
- Mobile device setup, configuration and integration with other systems – Android, Windows Mobile 7, Blackberry
- Installation and configuration of server based messaging for mobile devices
- Peripheral devices installation and problem solution – printers, scanners, copiers, audio devices – getting these devices working smoothly to meet your needs (mostly working with software issues – minor physical repairs may be possible but I’ll leave major hardware repairs to the relevant specialist.
- Help with software/application issues on all the above platforms, including Skype, Mikogo, Remote Desktop Connector, MS Office, LibreOffice, Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash), MSN, AOL and audio programs including Audacity
- Help with home/small office audio and video recording studios
